Careers Home Internship Program
"My internship experience helped me see how all the departments at the corporate office work as cogs in a wheel to keep the company running. The Bearquarters (corporate office team) values the opinions of associates at all levels – including interns. I personally gained skills and valuable experience that enhance my resume and that will help me in my accounting career and in life."
Maria Clark - Accounting Intern
"My IT internship at Build-A-Bear was a phenomenal adventure! My participation on projects allowed me to experience how the skills that I learned in the classroom are applied in real life. Working on projects taught me new, helpful techniques. For example, I created an application using ASP.NET, a programming language that I had never used before. The IT team is excellent and I am glad to now call many of them friends. I can’t wait to continue my work as a part-time IT associate throughout the school year!"
Lizzy Timm - IT Intern
"As the merchandising intern, I was exposed to a variety of different projects. I was able to shadow various departments to understand the entire process from concept through development and to overall sales. I developed a new strategy and presented my projects to the leadership team while being able to work in a fun corporate environment. Words cannot explain how amazing and fun it was to work at Build-A-Bear!"
Shelby Burnett - Merchandising Intern
